About Her:
Alicia Manson, b. 1979, Springfield, Illinois.
BFA from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, 2001.
Alicia currently lives in Chicago, Illinois, where she is an educator, photographer, and arts administrator. She taught her very first art class in the summer of 1998, and it was magic. Since then, she has been an art teacher for both children and adults in many different settings, including public schools, private schools, and community centers. She would like to thank her mother and father for always telling her (in one way or another) that art is not only a necessity, but also a viable career choice.
When shes not at work, Alicia can be found collecting treasures at the beach, cooking in the kitchen, recording information in her notebook, or reading anything she can get her hands on. She really, especially likes her family and her friends, because they are the best kind of company, and they keep her from losing herself. They're all so great! You should meet them.
Alicia also has quite an affinity for Lake Michigan, blue things, special pens and spoons, asparagus, circles, thunderstorms, cheese, nasturtium leaves, globes, and exotic chickens.
